COMPLAINTS/GRIEVANCES REPORTING PROCEDURES

At aBi Finance, our mission is to promote sustainable agribusiness development by providing inclusive, accessible, and green financing to smallholder farmers and agribusinesses in Uganda.

In order to effectively achieve this mission, we need your feedback.

We request that you share all feedback with us, including complaints, suggestions, opinions, and reports of harassment or abuse.

Who can give feedback or report, and where?
Employees of aBi Finance, staff working on projects funded by aBi Finance, our partners, suppliers, financial institutions, and any other stakeholders or individuals affected by our activities may submit reports through any of the following channels:

  1. Visit our offices at Umoja House and speak to the Chief Internal Auditor. In his/her absence, you may speak to the Chief Governance and Legal Officer.
  2. Address your letter to the Chief Internal Audit or Chief Governance and Legal Officer. This letter may be dropped off at our office at Umoja House, Nakasero Road, or posted to us at P.O. Box 29851, Kampala.
  3. Our whistleblowing hotline 0800203026 is ready at your service and available 24/7- Monday to Sunday, including public holidays. Should you experience any difficulty getting through, please contact the Chief Internal Auditor or the Chief Governance and Legal Officer at 0312 351 667.
  4. Send an email to hotline@abi.co.ug, a dedicated whistleblowing email.

Once you lodge your complaint/grievance/feedback/suggestion through the Chief Internal Auditor, insist on getting an acknowledgement for effective follow-up and closure of the matter.

In case your complaint is not handled in a satisfactory manner, we request that you please direct your communication to the Chief Executive Officer, aBi Finance Ltd, 2nd Floor Umoja House, P.O. Box 29851, Kampala.
