This is below the country\u2019s<br \/>population growth rate of 3.0%, which implies that the sector is highly vulnerable to production shocks, especially in the absence of food reserves. A notable development is the growth of the cash crops sub-sector at an average of 6.0%, which is more than twice the average sector growth; and financial and\u00a0 insurance activities (average 8.3% growth per annum).
